If Sen. Cotton goes to the CIA…Chelsea Clinton for US Senate from Arkanas?

That’s the wildly crazy idea that Politico’s BILL SCHER floats in one of those …’what do I write because I have to write something pieces ‘…..

I’m posting this as the joke piece of the week….

Image result for chelsea clinton

She has the Clinton name but little of the Clinton baggage. She wouldn’t hurt for name recognition or campaign cash. She’s vice chair of the controversy magnet known as the Clinton Foundation, but emails released during the presidential campaign by WikiLeaks and the State Department show Chelsea getting caught doing good, seeking to root out corruption by foundation officials and warning of problems with Haiti earthquake relief.

She is an Arkansas native, even though she hasn’t lived there since she was 12. Sure, she lives in Manhattan now and lacks a Southern accent. But her mom bought her first house in New York two months before she launched her Senate bid, proving zip code ain’t nothing but a number. Carpetbagger charges are inevitable. But in the end, what matters is your knowledge and respect of the state and its voters. Chelsea shows no hint of cultural condescension toward her birthplace. For example, as an NBC reporter, she spotlighted efforts to preserve the folk music traditions of the city of Mountain View in the Ozarks….

Arkansas is inhospitable territory for any Democrat. Therefore, the state party has little to lose by turning to Chelsea, and Chelsea has little to lose by returning home….

Why would she do this?

Where did this idea come from?

Bill Clinton back on the trail…For his wife….

William Jefferson Clinton is paying his wife back….

For all the time she stood behind him as her marraige oath probabaly said….’For Better or Worst’….

He’s out on the campaign trail…

Like old times..But this time he’s doing it FOR his spouse ….

Bill Clinton’s schedule many days is more packed than Hillary’s, though by design it rarely registers on the national radar.

This is the invisi-Bill campaign. The former president who flickers occasionally on cable news channels remains a big draw on the off-Broadway circuit of presidential politics. It is a low-altitude tactical deployment that leaves a light footprint, aiming to maximize his value as a political asset without stirring the negatives that also trail him.

His new duties have not come without stumbles, and they conjure the implications of a Clinton restoration. Presidential spouses are expected to exert their influence over china patterns, not China policy. No one, however, is under the illusion that Bill Clinton would remain cloistered in the East Wing. Still open to question is whether voters will welcome his return or worry about it.

Clinton has not sat for a formal media interview since last fall. But he pops up in obscure and unlikely places, where the presence of the former president is certain to dominate local front pages and evening newscasts and generate buzz in the community.

Usually, he draws no more than a few hundred people, in contrast to the crowds of 10,000 and up that flock to the mega-rallies of mogul Donald Trump and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

Clinton almost never takes questions from his audiences. Instead, when he is finished speaking, he wades into them, lingering at the security barricades until the last person who wants one gets a selfie, a hug or an empathetic ear.

And he gathers intelligence. Campaign officials say he is in constant contact with Hillary’s Brooklyn campaign headquarters, sending back reports of what he is hearing from donors, activists and ordinary voters….

Chelsea Clinton Update…American Princess?

She could be the first woman to have BOTH parents as President of the America…

And continues the blood line of an American political family….

Chelsea was astonished, her friends say, by the fervor of the world’s curiosity. Realizing that it wouldn’t end with her vows, she wondered what she could do to satisfy the interest. What responsibility she had.

“Her grandmother would say to her: ‘This happened to you. Now what are you going to do with it?’ ” explained Anne Hubert, one of Chelsea’s close friends. “Not ‘What are you going to do in spite of it,’ but ‘What are you going to do with it?’ ”

Today, the woman who could become America’s only two-time first daughter has decided: If the spotlight must always shine on her, she might as well use it in her favor.

She isn’t quite a celebrity. Or a philanthropist. Or a politician, though let’s not rule that out. Now serving as vice chair of her family’s foundation, she has reinvented herself as a champion of uncontroversial causes, her life an endless string of grand entrances, polite speeches, photo-ops — after which she retreats to her eight-figure Manhattan condominium, expecting the media and the public to preserve the boundaries she has cherished since childhood. Polished, practiced and private, Chelsea Clinton is the closest thing America has to a princess….

Hillary Clinton email presser Update…It begins…..

Hillary Clinton had a 20 minute Q & A today about her email thing….

I waited and listened to most of it with my wife…

We’re fine with it….

The media probably won’t be….

They’re NOT really good at that….

During her time before the camera’s she said several things….

The media reported most one thing….

Her saying ‘she should have used two email addresses.’….

She did point out that she used one because it was just easier..

She did point out (in your face wise) that she, like EVERYONE else choses what’s personal and what’s business…That IS the way it’s done….

And that her personal stuff (Like everyone else’s) is and will stay her’s….

And she reminded everyone that she released a LOT of pages of emails and the State Department HAS decided to release ALL of that AFTER they take up to six months to check the pages out….

Call us cynical?

But NOTHING Hillary Clinton was gonna say today was gonna stop the media….goateed it on by Republicans from continuing to infer that Hillary Clinton has something to hide, even if she doesn’t….As a matter of fact ?…..Some of the questions , we thought, where stupid, ‘gotcha’ stuff for the Beltway crowd, since a recent poll showed that only 18% of Americans give a shit about all of this…..

This is the start of her campaign for President….

It will continue like this because she IS  and HAS been a private person that is in the public’s eye…

She is also leading EVERYONE that is spinning the 2016 Sweepstakes spindle……

And she IS a Clinton with a vagina….

Hold on folks …

Cause the ride has just begun….

But count two votes form my household for the lady….

Go to Hell

Hillary Clinton had something to say to the media about her email. It wasn’t too subtle.

Hillary Clinton was likable enough, answering questions calmly though with a weary smile. She even offered a feint toward humility, allowing that, “looking back,” perhaps there was a “smarter” way for her to have handled her correspondence as secretary of state besides bypassing official government email entirely.

Beneath the politesse, however, was an unmistakable message in her 21-minute news conference in New York on Tuesday, easily distilled into three short words: Go to hell.

No, Clinton said, she did not violate the law or rules when, for reasons of “convenience,” she used a private email account in her years as the nation’s top diplomat.

No, she said, this matter does not need to be turned over to some outsider who can examine the Clinton family’s private email server and independently assess her assertion that she has already given to the State Department any correspondence that might conceivably be of public interest.

And no, she clearly believes, even if she did not explicitly say, she’s not going to pretend that this latest uproar is on the level, that the reporters and politicians second-guessing her judgments and clamoring for more answers have anything but self-interested motives in fanning the controversy.

How essentially combative was Clinton? The main piece of news to emerge from the session was her confusingly worded disclosure that she has already deleted the emails that she believes are no one’s business but her own.

Go to hell is not typically a sentiment expressed by politicians on the brink of a presidential campaign. But in Hillary Clinton’s case, it reflects a sincerely held belief that has been nearly a quarter-century in the making. Even Clinton opponents would have to acknowledge that she has some very good reasons for thinking the way she does.
