Donald Trump continues to try to sell the Russian’s didn’t help him win nonsense…

It won’t work….

His efforts to tarnish the FBI, CIA, NSA and Dept. of Justice (He’s at this since the election) isn’t gonna change the minds of most of the American public and the rest of the world…(his view does stick with his true believers though)

Trying to throw the blame even on President Obama and Hillary Clinton is making him look even more desperate…And the more he mentions this?

The more ingrained in the media and public eye it is gonna be…

I’m sure that Mueller’s people have even MORE proof that Donald Trump got help that Hillary Clinton and the world had know idea to what extent….

The man is lucky this country has no ‘do over’ mechanism…..

President Trump, in a series of angry and defiant tweets on Sunday morning, sought to shift the blame to Democrats for Russia’s virtual war to meddle in the 2016 election, saying that President Barack Obama had not done enough to stop the interference and denying that he had ever suggested that Moscow might not have been involved.

Mr. Trump, who has said little to publicly acknowledge a threat to American democracy that even one of his top aides called “incontrovertible” on Saturday, asserted that the efforts to investigate and combat the Russian meddling had only given the Russians what they wanted, saying that “they are laughing their asses off in Moscow.”

“If it was the GOAL of Russia to create discord, disruption and chaos within the U.S. then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams,” Mr. Trump wrote.

From his Florida estate, the president has spent the weekend stewing over news coverage of an indictment secured last week against more than a dozen Russians by Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel leading an investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia.

The indictment says that while the Russians began their scheme in 2014 with the goal of undermining the American democratic system, they eventually shifted their focus to trying to help elect Mr. Trump and disparage his opponent, Hillary Clinton.

The president has repeatedly seized on the fact that the efforts started before he became a candidate, but has glossed over the conclusion that they evolved toward supporting his candidacy. The indictment does not assert any wrongdoing by the president or anyone affiliated with him.

In another tweet on Sunday, Mr. Trump, who has tried since the campaign to sow doubts about who was behind the election intrusions, said that he had “never said Russia did not meddle in the election,” quoting a comment he made in a 2016 presidential debate.

“I said ‘it may be Russia, or China or another country or group, or it may be a 400 pound genius sitting in bed and playing with his computer,” Mr. Trump wrote. “The Russian ‘hoax’ was that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia — it never did!”…..

Obama sent More Mexican’s back than Trump has so far….

While Donald Trump has made more noise about his actions to rid American of illegal undoucumented Mexican’s ?

President Obama actuall had more deported during the same period last year….

Another persception thing working for Ttump & Co. that isn’t true…

President Trump sent roughly a quarter fewer Mexicans back to their home country between January and December this year than former President Barack Obama did during the same period in 2016, according to Mexican government data.

Trump’s administration sent about 152,000 Mexican nationals back to their home country, compared to roughly 205,000 in the first 11 months of 2016.

The Mexican government considers the 152,000 individuals to be repatriated, meaning migration officials ordered they be returned to their country of origin, according to Bloomberg News.

Cracking down on immigration was a hallmark of Trump’s presidential campaign, with a particular focus on building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump has drawn criticism for his rhetoric toward Mexicans, who he called “rapists” and criminals during his campaign launch event in 2015….

Trump holdover in the VA is a Trump Admin good guy?

Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin is pictured. | Cliff Owen/AP Photo.

Sure is….

One of the several Obama guys that is still on the job gets kudos from his boss….

VA Secretary David Shulkin has proved to be something unique in President Donald Trump’s Washington: an Obama appointee nominated by Trump who is beloved by almost everyone and getting stuff done.

By tweaking regulations, he has managed to fire hundreds of allegedly incompetent employees, publicized waiting times at Veterans Affairs clinics, gotten money to expand vets’ treatment by private doctors, and expanded care for isolated vets through telemedicine and mobile phones, while promising to close 430 vacant VA buildings and speed up benefit awards. Shulkin also made a bold — and risky — decision to bypass contracting rules to buy a $16 billion digital health record system.

“What motivates me and what motivates Dr. Shulkin is the same, to provide the best care to veterans,” said Rep. Phil Roe (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee. “I don’t know whether he’s a Republican or Democrat, and I could care less.”

But there’s a reason Shulkin was Trump’s fourth choice for the VA job — or possibly the fifth, or the 10th, depending on whom you ask. The VA, with 350,000 employees and 1,250 health care sites, is a political quagmire. Not many people want to clean up others’ messes with hundreds of people looking over their shoulder.

The VA’s conservative critics are holding their fire now that a GOP administration and Congress control the agency….

Barack Obama day will be a new Illinois state holiday…

Former President Obama is being honored with a new state holiday in his former state of Illinois.

Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner (R) signed a measure Friday to make Aug. 4 “Barack Obama Day” in the state, according to NBC Chicago. The holiday will be celebrated each year on Obama’s birthday beginning in 2018.

The day is “set apart to honor the 44th President of the United States of America who began his career serving the People of Illinois in both the Illinois State Senate and the United States Senate, and dedicated his life to protecting the rights of Americans and building bridges across communities.”….

There sure ain’t gonna be a Donald Trump holiday here in New York…

Eric Cantor admits the Obamacare Repeal sell over the years was Bull Shit…

He is joined in his candid view by John Boehner , his Speaker of House….

Cantor and the party back in 2009 needed a hook to go after President Obama…

They went negative……

And planted the seeds of the current Healthcare Repeal problems for his party…

Remember the summer of 2013, when the “Defund Obamacare Tour” drove the news cycle all through Congress’s August recess? The town halls organized by the political arm of the Heritage Foundation enlivened the base and furthered what had been the GOP’s core message since 2010—that Obamacare was bad and, if Americans helped Republicans hold both chambers, it could be repealed.

Cantor helped create that perception. Earlier that summer—after many failed attempts over the years to shred the law piecemeal—Cantor promised colleagues that the House would vote on a “full repeal.” But even after it did, the measure was dead on arrival in the Democratic-controlled Senate. Cantor—in Congress 13 years and, fairly or unfairly, once thought to be above electoral reproach—paid the price. His 2014 avenger, now-congressman David Brat, bludgeoned him for being soft on Obamacare, among other things. But the failure to make a dent in the law landed a bigger blow on the party. After seven years of pledging they could dismantle Obamacare, if only they had control of Congress and the White House, Republicans—at last in charge of both—have faced deep divisions over a replacement.

Asked if he feels partly responsible for their current predicament, Cantor is unequivocal. “Oh,” he says, “100 percent.”

He goes further: “To give the impression that if Republicans were in control of the House and Senate, that we could do that when Obama was still in office . . . .” His voice trails off and he shakes his head. “I never believed it.”

He says he wasn’t the only one aware of the charade: “We sort of all got what was going on, that there was this disconnect in terms of communication,……

Barack Obama holds his own….

For eight years Republicans vowed to get rid of the Affordable Healthcare Law they dubbed ‘Obamacare’….(Trump now wants to also)

They haven’t…

President Obama got a deal with Iran to halt their nuclear weapons program…

Trump and some Republicans vowed to get rid of it…

They didn’t….

Obama worked to strengthen NATO….

Trump said he wanted more money before he stood by the alliance …

He’s hanging in there…

Barack Obama has to be wearing a little smile these days….

Determined to dismantle his predecessor’s legacy, Mr. Trump in the space of a couple of hours this week reluctantly agreed to preserve President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran and failed in his effort to repeal Mr. Obama’s health care program.

The back-to-back events highlighted the challenge for a career developer whose main goal since taking office six months ago has been to raze what he sees as the poorly constructed edifices he inherited. Mr. Trump has gone a long way toward that objective through executive action, but now faces the reality that Mr. Obama’s most prominent domestic and international accomplishments remain intact.

In neither case has Mr. Trump given up. He instructed his national security team to keep rethinking the approach to Iran with a view toward either revising or scrapping the nuclear agreement. And by the end of the day he was vowing to let Mr. Obama’s health care program collapse.

“We will return!” Mr. Trump tweeted Tuesday morning about the collapse of his health care effort.

Yet there is little appetite among the United States’ partners to revisit the Iran deal, nor is there much eagerness among lawmakers to cancel the existing health care program without a new system to install in its stead.

The latter notion seemed to die almost immediately on Tuesday on Capitol Hill, leaving the president to throw up his hands and say he would simply let Mr. Obama’s program collapse of its own weight. “I’m not going to own it,” he told reporters. “I can tell you the Republicans are not going to own it. We’ll let Obamacare fail, and then the Democrats are going to come to us.”

Nearly every president arrives in office promising a new direction, especially those succeeding someone from the other party. But few, if any, have spent as much of their early months focused on undoing what the last president did rather than promoting their own proactive ideas as Mr. Trump has.

Where the president has succeeded so far in reversing the Obama legacy, it has largely been on issues where he could act on his own authority……

James Comey FBI Director and the 2016 Election…

The New York Times is out with  a long detailed  piece putting forth how FBI Director James Comey spent his last year dealing with first and foremost the look at Hillary Clinton and her email sever case, then the politics of the probe…..Then the walk into the Trump & Co. Russian connections case which is on going ….

The piece , done  by

That Hillary Clinton through her own actions put her campaign at risk….But she was also the recipient of fumbles and miscues by the Obama Admin from Barack Obama, thru Loretta Lynch and even Comey himself….

In these days of few secrets an FBI Director has hand to shepard his agency thru several politically sensitive investigations that involved people at the top of the American political government ….That there would be NO politics involved is naive….

But no department head to be fair could expect to make it thru without being thrown at is also wrong….

The piece shows a James Comey consulting with his people to game out where he should go on all major decisions….

But after he decides ?

He is overideen several times by events (Bill Clinton visiting AG Lynch), and direction from his superiors (White House holding Trump initial probe from the media)…

The result was and is a see-saw of criticism  thrown at Comey in-particular and the FBI by BOTH American political parties and don-off relationship with two President’s who have the power to remove him from his job…

In this day and age organizations cannot afford to tell their story in public ….

This from the NY Times is James Comey’s and the Federal Bureau of Investigation …

And agency trying hard to stay OUT of politics…

For Mr. Comey, keeping the F.B.I. out of politics is such a preoccupation that he once said he would never play basketball with President Barack Obama because of the appearance of being chummy with the man who appointed him. But in the final months of the presidential campaign, the leader of the nation’s pre-eminent law enforcement agency shaped the contours, if not the outcome, of the presidential race by his handling of the Clinton and Trump-related investigations.

An examination by The New York Times, based on interviews with more than 30 current and former law enforcement, congressional and other government officials, found that while partisanship was not a factor in Mr. Comey’s approach to the two investigations, he handled them in starkly different ways. In the case of Mrs. Clinton, he rewrote the script, partly based on the F.B.I.’s expectation that she would win and fearing the bureau would be accused of helping her. In the case of Mr. Trump, he conducted the investigation by the book, with the F.B.I.’s traditional secrecy. Many of the officials discussed the investigations on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to reporters.

Mr. Comey made those decisions with the supreme self-confidence of a former prosecutor who, in a distinguished career, has cultivated a reputation for what supporters see as fierce independence, and detractors view as media-savvy arrogance.

The Times found that this go-it-alone strategy was shaped by his distrust of senior officials at the Justice Department, who he and other F.B.I. officials felt had provided Mrs. Clinton with political cover. The distrust extended to his boss, Loretta E. Lynch, the attorney general, who Mr. Comey believed had subtly helped play down the Clinton investigation.

His misgivings were only fueled by the discovery last year of a document written by a Democratic operative that seemed — at least in the eyes of Mr. Comey and his aides — to raise questions about her independence. In a bizarre example of how tangled the F.B.I. investigations had become, the document had been stolen by Russian hackers.

The examination also showed that at one point, President Obama himself was reluctant to disclose the suspected Russian influence in the election last summer, for fear his administration would be accused of meddling.

Mr. Comey, the highest-profile F.B.I. director since J. Edgar Hoover, has not squarely addressed his decisions last year. He has touched on them only obliquely, asserting that the F.B.I. is blind to partisan considerations. “We’re not considering whose ox will be gored by this action or that action, whose fortune will be helped,” he said at a public event recently. “We just don’t care. We can’t care. We only ask: ‘What are the facts? What is the law?’”

But circumstances and choices landed him in uncharted and perhaps unwanted territory, as he made what he thought were the least damaging choices from even less desirable alternatives.

“This was unique in the history of the F.B.I.,” said Michael B. Steinbach, the former senior national security official at the F.B.I., who worked closely with Mr. Comey, describing the circumstances the agency faced last year while investigating both the Republican and Democratic candidates for president. “People say, ‘This has never been done before.’ Well, there never was a before. Or ‘That’s not normally how you do it.’ There wasn’t anything normal about this.”…

Comey wanted to out his Trump probe before the election…….

President Obama vetoed it…..

Hillary Clinton should be just as pissed with him as Comey,,..

i have asked myself WTF DIDN’T Obama do SOMETHING since the Clinton probe reportily ended in last July and the Trump pobes where running  and unlike a server investigation?

FBI Director James Comey attempted to go public as early as the summer of 2016 with information on Russia’s campaign to influence the U.S. presidential election, but Obama administration officials blocked him from doing so, two sources with knowledge of the matter tell Newsweek.

Well before the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) accused the Russian government of tampering with the U.S. election in an October 7 statement, Comey pitched the idea of writing an op-ed about the Russian campaign during a meeting in the White House Situation Room in June or July.

“He had a draft of it or an outline. He held up a piece of paper in a meeting and said, ‘I want to go forward. What do people think of this?’” says a source with knowledge of the meeting, which included Secretary of State John Kerry, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and National Security Adviser Susan Rice.

But many in the room didn’t like the idea, and White House officials thought the announcement should be a coordinated message backed by multiple agencies, the source says. “An op-ed doesn’t have the same stature. It comes from one person.”

Obama decries Sanders opposition to Obama care…

The President has been more open mouthed in the last couple of weeks about a lot of things with his departure form the White House upcoming and the spotlight now on Donald Trump….

He spoke to Vox’s Ezra Klien and mentioned his dislike of Bernei Sanders knocks against the Affordabale Healthcare law in favor of a Single-Payer Health Insurance program….

(With Republican running Congress and the White House there is NO Chance a  larger government supported hralthcare progam has a prayer)

At a town hall event with Vox Media, Obama acknowledged the politics have been stacked against his reforms, mainly blaming Republicans who he said refused to help make legislative fixes to Obamacare, which provides subsidies for private insurance to lower-income Americans who do not have healthcare plans at work.

But Obama also said Liberals like former Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders had contributed to the program’s unpopularity.

During Sanders’ campaign for the presidential nomination, he proposed replacing Obamacare with a government-run single-payer health insurance system based on Medicare, the government plan for elderly and disabled Americans.

“In the ‘dissatisfied’ column are a whole bunch of Bernie Sanders supporters who wanted a single-payer plan,” Obama said in the interview.

“The problem is not that they think Obamacare is a failure. The problem is that they don’t think it went far enough and that it left too many people still uncovered,” Obama said.

Michael Briggs, a spokesman for Sanders, agreed that many people would rather the government “take on the private insurance industry and the pharmaceutical companies” and play a bigger role in providing healthcare….

It could be said the President Obama did a poor job of selling the Affordable Healthcare program which is a success but has needed adjustments that are politically impossible with the opposition from the Republicans so strong…..

President Obama to meeet with House and Senate Democrats on Obamacare Repeal…

President Obama will meet with Democrats in both houses of Congress on Wednesday to talk about a strategy to deal with the coming Republican repeal of the Affordable Healthcare Law….

While Republicans CAN repeal parts of the law without Democratic votes….

Any Replacment WILL need Democratic votes….

President-elect Trump told the Wall Street Journal after the election that he wants to keep some parts of ObamaCare: the ban on insurers denying coverage to people with pre-existing health conditions, and allowing people to stay on their parents’ plans until they are 26.

A major question for Republicans, though, is how to keep the pre-existing condition protections without ObamaCare’s mandate to get coverage, which tries to ensure that healthy people sign up and keep premiums from spiking.

Some Senate Democrats have left the door open to working on a replacement plan, though they are skeptical that Republicans will put forward a new system that would provide the same level of coverage as ObamaCare.

The debate over repeal comes on the heels of some positive news for ObamaCare.

The administration announced this month that 6.4 million people had signed up for coverage under the law by the preliminary deadline of Dec. 19, 400,000 more people than at the same point last year.

Furthermore, a report from financial analysts at S&P this month found that the finances of ObamaCare insurers are improving, an important point for the sustainability of the law’s marketplaces.

The report says the much-publicized premium hikes this year were a “one-time pricing correction” and that premium increases are likely to be smaller next year….

Russia will NOT respond to Obama actions…Will wait for Trump….

After President Obama’s expulsion of 35 Russian ‘s from the United States and new sanctions imposed on them….

The Russians Foreign Minister said Russia would respond in kind against the United States….

‘That isn’t gonna happen….

Russian President Putin has decided to take the hit and wait for a President Trump Administration to try and see if they will UNDO the actions President Obama has made….

The political dynamic is VERY different…..

The question is?

Will a President Trump be able to undo American/Russian Foreign Policy all BY HIMSELF….Or with Obama out of office?

Will Congress seek to blunt a Russian President’s chess moves ….

In a rare break from the diplomatic tradition of reciprocal punishment, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday he would not deport U.S. diplomats in a tit-for-tat response to U.S. hacking sanctions, as Russia looks to cultivate relations with the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump.

“We won’t create problems for American diplomats,” Putin said in a statement released by his press service Friday afternoon, adding that Russia retained the right to punish U.S. diplomats in the future. He said he would “plan further steps for restoring the Russian-American relationship based on the policies enacted by the administration of President Donald Trump.”

The surprising decision came just hours after the Russian Foreign Ministry suggested that Putin expel 35 U.S. diplomats and close two properties used by the U.S. Embassy in Moscow as part of a growing diplomatic slugfest over Russia’s interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election….

Trump is most certainly going to try to spin this as a example of how he can work ‘deals’….And Both he and the Russian will try to make Obama the bad guy…

But if the focus remains on the cyber hacking influence actions of the Russians?

Putin WILlLbe looked at CONTINUING to help Trump help HIM to get what HE wants….

Trump and Obama continue to talk….

Image result for Obama/trump

President Obama and President-Elect Donald Trump continue to speak regularly to each other quietly….

Obama also contunues to try to show Trump ‘the ropes’ of  the office he will assume in 6 weeks….

Trump has also admited that he has taken some of Obama’s advice …..

As with other things…..

Donald Trump has changed his tune on quite a bit  of his Bull Shit rants and rhetoric…..

President-elect Donald Trump said Wednesday that he is taking advice on his political appointees from the man he spent months railing against on the campaign trail: President Barack Obama.

Trump said Wednesday on NBC’s “Today” that he has sought the president’s advice on the candidates for various appointment-level positions and in at least one case so far, has acted on that advice.

“I have asked him what he would think of this one and that one,” Trump said. “I would say that, yes, I take his recommendations very seriously and there are some people that I will be appointing, and in one case have appointed, where he thought very highly of that person, yes.”

The president-elect declined to say which of his appointees thus far have been endorsed by Obama, telling anchor Matt Lauer that to disclose such information would be unfair to the president.

Trump spoke warmly of the president, with whom he has spoken multiple times since winning the White House a month ago. His complimentary tone towards Obama marks a dramatic shift from the president-elect’s campaign rhetoric, which relied heavily at times on attacking Obama and his signature policies….
