Biden….“I thought I was the correct candidate.”

Ole Joe is himself putting his views out there……

He also keeps his name in the 2020 Democratic nomination sweepstakes even though he has said he wouldn’t run previously….

Former Vice President Joe Biden had harsh words for former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Thursday night.

I never thought she was the correct candidate,” Biden said at the SALT conference in Las Vegas, according to Fusion reporter Hamilton Nolan. “I thought I was the correct candidate.”

TheStreet’s Ronald Orol, who was also at the SkyBridge Capital event, said the audience clapped at Biden’s comments.

“No man or woman should announce for the presidency unless they genuinely believe that for that moment in the nation’s history they are the most qualified person to deal with the issues facing the country,” TheStreet quoted him as saying.

He also didn’t rule out running himself in 2020, according to multiple reports from the event….

Biden has Super-pac pull Ad…

The ad is on-line though….

Joe Biden is STILL sitting on the fence folks….

A super PAC encouraging Vice President Joe Biden to run for president announced on Thursday that it would not buy television airtime for its first ad in accordance with Biden’s reported wishes.

The super PAC, Draft Biden, released a 90-second video ad online Wednesday that overlays audio of Biden speaking about coping with the death of his first wife and infant daughter, who died in a 1972 car accident, with photos of Biden and his family members. The group said at the time that it would be making a 6-figure ad buy in cable markets across the country.

A person close to the vice president told The Los Angeles Times on Thursday that while Biden valued the group’s efforts, “he has seen the ad and thinks the ad treads on sacred ground and hopes they don’t run it.”…

Joe Biden won’t do the Oct. 13th Democratic Debate…

There has been NOTHING tpo indicate that Vice President Joe Biden WANTS to run for President….

The entire Biden for President thing has been done those who WANT him to run…

Not him….
frankly this Dog feels that the guy simply doesn’t have the heart to get in the fight…

(He’s 0-2 so far in trying out for the job)

And it’s about too late anyways….

Vice President Joe Biden is not expected to participate in the first Democratic presidential debate on October 13, CNN reported Thursday, a sign he is delaying his decision whether to jump into the 2016 race.

Biden is not preparing for the debate, which will take place in Las Vegas, according to several Democrats who spoke to CNN. Instead, the vice president is likely to announce his 2016 plans in the second half of October.
Should Biden skip the debate, it would further fuel speculation about one of the biggest unknown factors in the Democratic presidential primary.

Many Democrats are hungry to see Biden challenge Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, worried that the controversy surrounding her use of a private email server as secretary of State has permanently damaged her campaign….

Joe Biden has Great Poll numbers…Wait….

Over the last few weeks we’ve seen people AROUND Joe Biden keep a steady narrative going…..

Joe Biden would be the best anti-Hillary Clinton….

People have short memories…

We saw the same thing for Elizabeth Warren ….

That didn’t work….

Just a pointer….

Ten seconds after a Joe Biden Ok to run?

He’ll be under INTENSE political scrutiny….

And his numbers will drop….

That along with his 0-2 record in running for President, age, propensity to say the wrong thing, and closeness to his boss President Obama WILL be BIG problems…..Also Biden would need money and organization at this late time….

I Like Vice President Joe Biden….

He IS a good man .

And he doesn’t seem to have feeling for a serious run and

He’s got a BIG mountain to climb….

Slow down on Joe Biden running for President….

Despite the HARD push by those would have him run against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic 2016 Presidential nomination…

He’s in NO rush….

And everyday he waits?

His window for a run gets smaller…

Vice President Biden will not “rush” his decision to run for president in 2016, even if it means waiting too long to get on the ballot, he said in interview published Monday.

Biden said the ultimate deciding factor will be whether a presidential campaign is in the best interest of his family, which is mourning the loss of his son, Beau.

“For us, this is a family decision. And I just have to be comfortable that this will be good for the family,” he told America Media, a Catholic News Organization. “We’re just not quite there yet and it may not get there in time to make it feasible to be able to run and succeed because there are certain windows that will close.”

Whatever decision he makes, Biden indicated he will not have any regrets.

“If that’s it, that’s it. But it’s not like I can rush it,” he said. “It’s not like — it either happens or it doesn’t happen…..”

He got a warm welcome from the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation on Saturday…

“He’d be welcomed by the Democratic community in general. He’s been a very good vice president. I think he’d do well,” King said. Asked whether his association with Obama would help him in the black community, King added, “I don’t think he has a greater relationship than Hillary Clinton … I think he has a relationship also.”

“Hillary tries to distance herself from the president. He doesn’t have to do that,” said the attendee, who asked not to be identified because of his business relationships with Washington-based clients. “He can embrace him.”

Can a Biden run pick up Black support?

To win the Democratic Presidential nomination you MUST get Black Democrats on board….

If you get them…You will probably will getting the Democratic Latino and Asian vote….

As Joe Biden is pushed to run….

He faces the prospect of trying to steal the minority vote from Hillary Clinton….And THAT is gonna be hard sell….The Clinton name goes far in the minority communities…

Bernie Sanders has been unsuccessful in his efforts to peal off some black, brown and yellow Democratic  votes…

Joe Biden will be spending Saturday at the premiere event for black lawmakers in Washington, an appearance seen widely as a chance to test the waters for a 2016 bid among a crucial constituency.
But interviews with nearly a dozen Congressional Black Caucus members this week make it clear: Biden will be walking into Clinton territory. The conversations point to a deep base of support for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that’s unlikely to change, even if Biden enters the race.

“I don’t see a serious primary at all,” Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.). “The Clintons have inroads with the black community, and I really don’t see a contest at all. Biden is my buddy, but he’s not going anywhere.”
The African-American lawmakers say they have deep respect for both politicians but overwhelmingly back Clinton, who has been reaching out to black caucus members since she launched her presidential bid earlier this year.

Biden decided last week to attend the high-profile Congressional Black Caucus Foundation event, a last-minute move that comes as speculation mounts about whether he’ll launch an 11th-hour bid for president. President Barack Obama is the keynote speaker at the dinner.

Biden…”I don’t know”

While a draft effort for Biden starts in Iowa….

Joe Biden admits that he IS undecided about running for President a third time….

Vice President Biden on Thursday said the most important variable as he decides whether to launch a White House bid is how his family would handle the “arduous commitment.”

Speaking at an Atlanta synagogue, the vice president said he’s still deciding whether to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.

“The most relevant factor in my decision is whether my family and I will have the emotional energy to run,” Biden said, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“Some might think that’s not appropriate. Unless I can go to my party and the American people and say I’m able to devote my whole heart and my whole soul to this endeavor, it would not be appropriate,” he added.

“Can I do it? Can my family undertake what is an arduous commitment? … The honest-to-God answer is I just don’t know.”

Few insiders think Joe Biden will mount another run for President…

This feeling is a common sense view of  Joe Biden future….

He has run for President twice before….

Neither effort was in anyway successful….

He has just come off a very rough time personally….

He is NOW sitting as close to the office as anyone can…

But in running ?

He would have to burn a LOT of bridges and put two people that he likes vey much in a tough position….

And he would have to put together a BIG money and organizational effort that most establishment Democarts would frown at, whit no promise he would win and with the worry that he might wound Hillary Clinton chances to keep a Democrat in the White House for the future….

Biden would be a likable, smart and well expereienced President….

But he most probably has missed his chance by being what he has done extremly well….Being Vice President….

The vast majority of Democratic insiders from the early states don’t believe Joe Biden will run for president, despite evidence that he is seriously considering a 2016 bid.
That’s the assessment of the POLITICO Caucus, our weekly bipartisan survey of the top strategists, activists and operatives in Iowa and New Hampshire. Their responses come as speculation swirls about whether the vice president will jump into the Democratic primary against his longtime colleague, and likely nominee, Hillary Clinton.

“He’s a truly wonderful man universally loved by NH Democrats, but I can’t imagine him undertaking such a monumental underdog effort at such a difficult time for his family and with the massive monetary, people and campaign advantages of the Clinton campaign,” a New Hampshire Democrat said, referring to the recent death of Biden’s son, former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden.

“An objective reading of VP Biden’s chances of winning the nomination will force him to accept the reality that he should not enter the race for the Democratic nomination,” an Iowa Democrat said.

Political Roundup for August 27, 2015…GOPer’s wish for Biden!…RRH Elections

Good morning and happy Thursday.  We got lots of Trumpsanity and Pennsylvania political corruption for you to start your day right…

Demographics and 2016:  Sean Trende and David Byler look at how demographics can impact the 2016 presidential election.  Good analysis as always by Trende and Byler.

Trump and Pollsters:  Pollsters are dumbfounded by some of the trends they are finding in Trump’s rise as of late.  In particular, they are puzzled by how he has been able to flip negative to favorable personal numbers so quickly.  Ultimately it appears a lot of the changing dynamic is driven by Trump’s cult of personality and his lack of issue specifics or coherence.

Trump – Supporters:  Who exactly is supporting the Trump “man of action” demagogue campaign?  The Federalist looks to see whose supporting Trump’s very unconservative campaign.

Biden:  Many of Vice President Joe Biden’s (D) top donors in the past have not donated to the Clinton campaign yet leaving open the possibility that Biden could start off with a healthy warchest if he jumps into the race.  This is good news as Biden might be the only savior civilization has at this point (God help us all!).

More Biden:  The Obama donor network has been put on high alert to the potential of a Biden presidential campaign.  While a good portion of Obama’s network has already got in bed with the Clintons, Biden definitely has room to exploit Obama’s vast donor network if he enters the race….

Joe Biden HAS NOT made up his mind to run….

A ‘La Elizabeth Warren…..

It appears that OTHERS are fronting a possible run by Biden, who has seemed to be going out of his way NOT to undermine the Hillary Clinton efforts….

“He’s just not himself,” says a longtime friend of Biden’s. “He’s sort of all over the place. He’s engaged but not in that child-like, manic way he usually is. He’s taking it all in and soaking up information, but he’s hard to read. And Joe Biden isn’t usually that hard to read.”

That isn’t to say Biden won’t decide to run — he clearly sees Clinton’s struggles with her email scandal as an opportunity, and no politician in recent history has proven to be as resilient in the face of personal tragedy.

To the annoyance of the Clinton campaign, Biden’s allies have strategically leaked his modest, noncommittal doings to the media, which have given otherwise ho-hum confabs with Elizabeth Warren and President Obama’s former counsel Bob Bauer bombshell treatment (Warren, according to a person with knowledge of the interaction, offered her usual warning against bringing more Wall Street executives into the White House; the Bauer sit-down was a relatively dry give-and-take on state election laws and deadlines).

But reports that the vice president has all but made up his mind to run are simply not true, according to a half-dozen people in his inner circle interviewed by POLITICO…..
