Mueller Update Jan. 6, 2018….Investgators checking on Trump’s daughter Ivanka….And More…

While Donald Trump twists and turns in the wind and Republican House members try to threaten Robert Mueller….

Mueller’s people continue to dig deeper and deeper into Trump and Co. financial dealings and Trump’s view of events he attended and says he did NOT…

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has recalled for questioning at least one participant in a controversial meeting with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer at Trump Tower in June 2016, and is looking into President Trump’s misleading claim that the discussion focused on adoption, rather than an offer to provide damaging information about Hillary Clinton….

Investigators also are exploring the involvement of the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, who did not attend the half-hour sit-down on June 9, 2016, but briefly spoke with two of the participants, a Russian lawyer and a Russian-born Washington lobbyist. Details of the encounter were not previously known….

Mueller’s investigation into possible obstruction of justice by Trump is also examining whether he improperly tried to shield his former national security advisor, Michael Flynn, from an FBI investigation and then fired FBI Director James B. Comey to block the inquiry.

John Dowd, one of Trump’s lawyers, declined to comment Friday on the direction of Mueller’s inquiry. Trump has repeatedly denied wrongdoing and in a tweet Friday again denounced allegations of collusion with Russia as “a total hoax.”

Mueller has charged four former Trump aides with crimes so far, although none of the charges have specifically included conspiracy to assist the Russian interference….

Trump White House staff burn thru rate worst in 40 years….

Anybody Wonder why?

Image result for Trump staff gone

The Trump White House has had more first-year departures than any other president in at least 40 years, with a 34% turnover rate, Kathryn Dunn-Tenpas from the Brookings Institute told the Wall Street Journal. That’s 17 percentage points higher than the second-highest turnover rate of 17% under Ronald Reagan….

Presidents Can Obstruct Justice both Republicans and Democrats Say…

Last week Donald Trump’s lawyer floated the idea that an American President was above being charged with an ‘obstuction of justice……

That lawyer , John Dowd, walked his comments back within 24 hours….

Dowd must have been absent during the history lession on the end of Richard Nixon’s presidency….and Bill Clinton’s…

Anybody following the Mueller investigation of Doanld Trump KNOWS that Trump actions in firing his FBI Director James Comey is where Mueller’s people are looking to go…

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a senior Republican Judiciary member who was a military lawyer, suggested Dowd consider obstruction precedent.

“There’s the ‘Can you be charged as a civilian with obstruction of justice?’ debate,” he said, referring to Article II of the Constitution that covers offenses for which a sitting president can be removed from office by Congress. “Then there’s the ‘Can obstruction become a high crime and misdemeanor?’ debate.”

“And the answer to that is ‘yes,’” Graham added. “You’ve got [President Bill] Clinton, you’ve got Nixon, so there’s plenty of precedent that obstruction of justice can be a ‘high crime or a misdemeanor’ under the Constitution for impeachment purposes. … In terms of being charged in federal court or state court, I don’t know if that can happen while you’re president because that’s an unsettled question.”

Ty Cobb, a White House lawyer overseeing the presidential team’s involvement in the Russia investigation, has said Dowd’s theory would not be the basis of any legal defense….

Special counsel Robert Mueller is trying to piece together what happened inside the White House over a critical 18-day period that began when senior officials were told that National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was susceptible to blackmail by Russia, according to multiple people familiar with the matter.

The questions about what happened between Jan. 26 and Flynn’s firing on Feb. 13 appear to relate to possible obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump, say two people familiar with Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s election meddling and potential collusion with the Trump campaign.

Multiple sources say that during interviews, Mueller’s investigators have asked witnesses, including White House Counsel Don McGahn and others who have worked in the West Wing, to go through each day that Flynn remained as national security adviser and describe in detail what they knew was happening inside the White House as it related to Flynn.

Some of those interviewed by Mueller’s team believe the goal is in part to determine if there was a deliberate effort by President Trump or top officials in the West Wing to cover up the information about Flynn that Sally Yates, then the acting attorney general, conveyed to McGahn on Jan. 26….

As the Mueller’s digging gets closer?…Trump fires off at the FBI….

The President of the United States seems to be on the ropes already….

As the Specail Counsel (Prosocutor) slowly but steadily closes in the actions of the Trump campaign and admin Trump is feeling pressure…

In his past life he could aways count on using his money to hire lawyers to settle issues for him…He can’t this time….

Since last years campaign  he has been able to attack any hindrance in his way and get over….He can’t this time…

He has now lashed out against the FBI…..and in doing so?

He is just digging himself deeper in a hole that will probably end up with him leaving a job he had no business getting….

President Trump’s aides spent the weekend applying tourniquets to stop the bleeding from more self-inflicted wounds. Continuing a pattern, the White House took a bad story and made it worse. With his legal exposure increased, the president then sought to change the subject.

On Saturday, Trump tweeted this about his former national security adviser: “I had to fire General (Michael) Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.

Legal experts said this could be used as evidence that the president was trying to obstruct justice when he allegedly asked James Comey to take it easy on Flynn and then, when he didn’t, fired him as FBI director.

On Sunday, Trump’s personal lawyer claimed responsibility for writing the tweet — which he called sloppy. John Dowd clarified that the president knew in late January that Flynn had probably given FBI agents the same inaccurate account he provided to Vice President Pence about a call with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

“Dowd said the information was passed to Trump by White House counsel Donald McGahn, who had been warned about Flynn’s statement to the vice president by a senior Justice Department official,” Carol D. Leonnig, John Wagner and Ellen Nakashima reported last night. “A person close to the White House involved in the case termed the Saturday tweet ‘a screw-up of historic proportions’ that has ‘caused enormous consternation in the White House.’

— Washington is now consumed by speculation about what shoe drops next. Here are seven questions that will determine what course special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation takes from here….

All of the above from this….

As the F.B.I.’s Russia investigation draws closer to him, President Trump on Sunday unleashed an extraordinary assault on the nation’s premier law enforcement agency, calling it a biased institution whose reputation for fairness was “in tatters.”

In a series of early-morning tweets, Mr. Trump said the F.B.I.’s standing was now the “worst in history.” The attack was one of the harshest in a generation on an independent agency that two days earlier had helped secure a guilty plea and a pledge of cooperation from the president’s first national security adviser.

Current and former F.B.I. officials, historians and lawmakers rebuked the president over his efforts to undermine the F.B.I.’s credibility as it investigates whether his campaign colluded with Russian officials to sway the 2016 election. A president who has positioned himself as devoted to law and order is now in a public dispute with the country’s top law enforcement agents.

Thomas O’Connor, the president of the association representing F.B.I. agents, defended their integrity in a statement. “F.B.I. agents are dedicated to their mission,” he said, asserting that they demonstrated “unwavering integrity and professionalism” on the job. “Suggesting otherwise is simply false,” he added.

On Friday, Michael T. Flynn, the former national security adviser, admitted that he had lied to the F.B.I. about his conversations with the Russian ambassador during the presidential transition. As part of the bureau’s inquiry, the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, is believed to be examining whether Mr. Trump obstructed justice by firing James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director, who was overseeing the inquiry….

It’s anybody’s guess just how long the Mueller investigation will last, although special prosecutor investigations tend to be measured in years, not months.

Breaking…. Mike Flynn charged with lying to the FBI….

The former Trump Admin National Security advisor will enter a plea at a Federal Court this morning against the charges….

He is cooperating with Robert Mueller’s people….

Image result for mike flynn

He was supposed to go before a federal grand jury….That has been cancelled…

The Mueller group seems to be building a foundation to move up the ladder and squeeze Trump & Co…..

Remember …..

Mueller’s people are actively questioning almots all of the Trump Admin senior staff in the admin and last years campaign….

Oh, and this whole thing is NOT gonna be over in a month like Trump’s people are trying to sell….

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn was charged Friday with making a false statement to the FBI about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, marking another monumental development in the wide-ranging probe of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III.

Flynn was expected to enter a plea at 10:30, according to the special counsel’s office. The charges relate to false statements Flynn made to the FBI on January 24, four days after President Trump was inaugurated, about his meeting with Kislyak during the transition….

As in other high profile federal cases?

Lying to cover yourself or others is what gets you in trouble often…Not the other action’s….

Mike Flynn should ask for immunity in that this is a witch hunt (excuse for big election loss), by media & Dems, of historic proportion!

( Donald Trump REALLY doesn’t get it…Does he? )

Mueller Investigation Update…Kushner questioned…

This is important….

Reports are that Jared Kushner was mostly questioned about Mike Flynn  earlier this month….

Image result for flynn/kushner

NOT about his other actions ???

Inaddtion, it is unknown if Kushner will be called in to answer anymore questions and if this was the only time he was questioned…In addition?

The questioning itself had to have an effect on the President’s son-in-law….

President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has been questioned by special counsel Robert Mueller’s team of investigators about former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

That’s according to a person familiar with the investigation who spoke to The Associated Press Wednesday night on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter.

The person said the questioning of Kushner took about 90 minutes or less and was aimed in part at establishing whether Kushner had any information on Flynn that might be exculpatory.

The person said multiple White House witnesses have been asked about their knowledge of Flynn, who was forced to resign from the White House in February after officials concluded he had misled them about his contacts with the Russian ambassador….

Mike Flynn lawyer’s stop talking to Trump’s….

Mike Flynn has awfully quiet in the last few months….

It is pretty common knowledge that Flynn and possibley his son will be indicted by a Mueller Grand Jury ….

So with the knowledge that the lawyers have severed their communications one could infur that Flynn has been/ or is working on cooperating with the Special Cousel (Prosecutor ) office….

It appears that Mueller office is starting form the bottom and moving up the ladder of the Trump campaign….

They are having Q & A’s with Trump campaign staff and White House staff over the next few weeks and they seem to have a good idea about what has happened durin the campaign and in the beginning of the Trump Admin….

And from media reports?

A LOT was’s on the up and up….

A deal with Mr. Flynn would give Mr. Mueller a behind-the-scenes look at the Trump campaign and the early tumultuous weeks of the administration. Mr. Flynn was an early and important adviser to Mr. Trump, an architect of Mr. Trump’s populist “America first” platform and an advocate of closer ties with Russia.

His ties to Russia predated the campaign — he sat with President Vladimir V. Putin at a 2015 event in Moscow — and he was a point person on the transition team for dealing with Russia.

Among the interactions that Mr. Mueller is investigating is a private meeting that Mr. Flynn had with the Russian ambassador and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, during the presidential transition. In the past year, it has been revealed that the Trump campaign repeatedly tried to meet with Russian officials who were promising compromising information on Mrs. Clinton.

Mr. Flynn is regarded as loyal to Mr. Trump, but he has in recent weeks expressed serious concerns to friends that prosecutors will bring charges against his son, Michael Flynn Jr., who served as his father’s chief of staff and was a part of several financial deals involving the elder Mr. Flynn that Mr. Mueller is scrutinizing….

A LOT of people who went along with Trump’s distain for how the rules work in government probably wish they had not followed his lead…

Mueller Probe Update 10/5/17…Mike Flynn next?…Russian Connection’s to Commerce Sec and Kushner…

Reports are circulating that Mike Flynn will be next indicted subject of the Robert Mueller Grand Juries…….

Flynn has be below the radar for the last month or so….

Special Counsel Bob Mueller has obtained enough evidence to bring charges in the federal investigation into President Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and his son, according to NBC News.

Flynn would be the first current or former Trump administration official to be charged by Mueller’s team, signaling the team closing in on the White House.

The Hill has reached out to the special counsel’s office for comment.

Mueller’s team is reportedly planning to speak with various witnesses in the next week to learn more about Flynn’s past lobbying work and whether he laundered money and lied to federal investigators….

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross “shares business interests with Vladimir Putin’s immediate family, and he failed to clearly disclose those interests when he was being confirmed for his cabinet position,” NBC News reports….

“Two Russian state institutions with close ties to Vladimir Putin funded substantial investments in Twitter and Facebook through a business associate of Jared Kushner, leaked documents reveal,” the Guardian reports….

Mueller Trump probe update for 9/20/17…Requests for internal White House Trump communication info…

The Mueller investigator’s are peeling back the nuts and bolts of the early Donald Trump efforts to set up contacts with the Russian’s and information about Trump’s efforts to stop prying into his actions including the Comey firing

Over the last month it has become clear that the investigation seeks to get  a clear and factual picture of Donald Trump and others actions during the campaign and afterwards….(Manafort has been told he will be charged)

Trump’s lawyers seem too be going out of their way to be seen as providing ANYTHING they can find…..But the White House Counselor is concerned about the boundaries of a President’s private executive privilege ….

While the newly revealed requests by the Special Counsel’s office are focused on Trump’s actions related to Russia and those actions by his staff and campaign staff…

It is unknown if Mueller is looking at Trump’s financial dealings , which had been what some through would be occurring….

It should be mentioned that New York State Attorney General Scheideriman also interested in the Manafort case and has previously gone after Donald Trump on financial irregulars….

Based on the document request to the White House, there is no indication that Mr. Mueller is pressing to examine Mr. Trump’s personal finances or business dealings — areas the president has said should be off limits. It is not clear whether Mr. Mueller has made separate document requests elsewhere to examine those subjects.

Mr. Mueller has asked for all internal White House communications about numerous former campaign officials, including Paul J. Manafort, the former campaign chairman who is now under federal investigation. The document request also seeks communications about Mr. Trump’s campaign foreign policy team: Carter Page, J. D. Gordon, Keith Kellogg, George Papadopoulos, Walid Phares and Joseph E. Schmitz.

Of the 13 subjects in Mr. Mueller’s document request, four are related to Mr. Flynn. The retired lieutenant general was fired in February after it was revealed that he misled Vice President Mike Pence about December phone calls he had with Mr. Kislyak, the Russian ambassador at the time.

American officials said Mr. Flynn had told the vice president that he had only exchanged holiday greetings with Mr. Kislyak, when in fact the two men had discussed economic sanctions against Russia. The phone calls took place in late December, around the same time the Obama administration was announcing sanctions to punish Russia for what American officials said was a Russian campaign to disrupt the November presidential election.

F.B.I. agents interviewed Mr. Flynn about the phone calls, and the special counsel has requested all internal White House communications about the F.B.I. interview. Mr. Mueller has also asked for documents about how the White House responded to concerns raised by the Justice Department that Mr. Flynn might be subject to Russian blackmail for misleading Mr. Pence about the calls.

Three of Mr. Mueller’s requests focus on Mr. Comey’s firing. The special counsel wants any White House documents about the decision-making that led to Mr. Comey’s firing, and about all meetings Mr. Comey had with Mr. Trump…..

Mueller asked WH for phone records on Air Force One statement

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has asked the White House to turn over all its documents related to Donald Trump Jr.’s initial statement on a meeting with a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower.

The statement, which was reportedly drafted on Air Force One and approved by President Trump, was later shown to be false after Trump Jr. released his email correspondence about setting up the meeting…..

A LOT of Trump Admin pick’s don’t make the cut…

The Washington Post goes over the growing list of people who have left the Admin for various reasons…Some quietly…Some with headlines…

The first three tumultuous months of Trump’s term have seen a perhaps unprecedented number of personnel casualties. A big part of the problem is that his transition team did a lousy job of vetting. Red flags that might have been discovered by a simple Google search didn’t emerge in some cases until after nominees were named publicly. The president also gravitated toward billionaires as he stocked the government, and the richer someone is the more conflicts they are likely to have. Complying with the requirements of the Office of Government Ethics proved too onerous for some. The premium that this president places on loyalty over experience and qualifications cost others their postings. Backstabbing and palace intrigue — which created a brutal, joyless work environment in the West Wing — drove others away after only weeks in their dream jobs….

Breaking…Russian’s tried to cultivate moles in the Trump campaign…FBI

CNN is reporting that Russian assets tried to cultivate inside Trump people last year to spy for them…

Trump surrogate Carter Page’s name keeps popping up in the same sentence as Russian’s….(He joins Mike Flynn and Paul Manafort as people the FBI and Congressional investigators are looking at)

Image result for trump/carter page

The FBI gathered intelligence last summer that suggests Russian operatives tried to use Trump advisers, including Carter Page, to infiltrate the Trump campaign, according to US officials.

The new information adds to the emerging picture of how the Russians tried to influence the 2016 election, not only through email hacks and propaganda but also by trying to infiltrate the Trump orbit. The intelligence led to an investigation into the coordination of Trump’s campaign associates and the Russians.
These officials made clear they don’t know whether Page was aware the Russians may have been using him. Because of the way Russian spy services operate, Page could have unknowingly talked with Russian agents.
Page disputes the idea he has ever collected intelligence for the Russians, saying he helped the US intelligence community. “My assumption throughout the last 26 years I’ve been going there has always been that any Russian person might share information with the Russian government … as I have similarly done with the CIA, the FBI and other government agencies in the past.”
But the intelligence suggests Russia tried to infiltrate the inner-workings of the Trump campaign by using backdoor channels to communicate with people in the Trump orbit, US officials say.
Page is one of several Trump advisers US and European intelligence found to be in contact with Russian officials and other Russians known to Western intelligence during the campaign, according to multiple US officials.
The scope and frequency of those contacts raised the interest of US intelligence agencies….
