White House staff nervously watch their boss who seems to be in over his head….

We ALL KNOW that Donald J. Trump IS having problems with being President of the United States…

He has little idea of what the office of the Presidency entails….

He only seems to care about being the center of attention and how he can be the winner in all things….

Vanity Fair does its piece on the situation that Trump’s staff,  the people of the county , Congress and the rest of the world are going thru with a New York Real Estate and Entertainment guy, who shouldn’t have won last November’s election , but did…..

One former official even speculated that Kelly and Secretary of Defense James Mattis have discussed what they would do in the event Trump ordered a nuclear first strike. “Would they tackle him?” the person said. Even Trump’s most loyal backers are sowing public doubts. This morning, The Washington Post quoted longtime Trump friend Tom Barrack saying he has been “shocked” and “stunned” by Trump’s behavior.

While Kelly can’t control Trump’s tweets, he is doing his best to physically sequester the president—much to Trump’s frustration. One major G.O.P. donor told me access to Trump has been cut off, and his outside calls to the White House switchboard aren’t put through to the Oval Office. Earlier this week, I reported on Kelly’s plans to prevent Trump from mingling with guests at Mar-a-Lago later this month. And, according to two sources, Keith Schiller quit last month after Kelly told Schiller he needed permission to speak to the president and wanted written reports of their conversations.

Even before Corker’s remarks, some West Wing advisers were worried that Trump’s behavior could cause the Cabinet to take extraordinary Constitutional measures to remove him from office. Several months ago, according to two sources with knowledge of the conversation, former chief strategist Steve Bannon told Trump that the risk to his presidency wasn’t impeachment, but the 25th Amendment—the provision by which a majority of the Cabinet can vote to remove the president. When Bannon mentioned the 25th Amendment, Trump said, “What’s that?” According to a source, Bannon has told people he thinks Trump has only a 30 percent chance of making it the full term….

Note….

Allies see signs that Trump is frustrated with Kelly and increasingly unwilling to be managed, even just a little. The person close to the White House said the two men had engaged in “shouting matches” in recent days. (Hannity declined to comment about his role in advising the president on immigration policy.)

Trump’s ex-General Chief of Staff reins in his boss….

There is no doubt of Donald J.Trump’s admiration of military types….

He has surrounded himself with general’s….

Over the last month his newly installed chief-of-staff has been busy doing what no other peroson has been able to do since the beginning of the campaign….

Add some order to Trumpworld….

Image result for john Kelly and Trump

Trump being his own worst enemy , has followed the road laid out for him John Kelly, cutting back his access to rightwing nuts, and tempering his outburst ‘s in the media (trump STILL has acess to twitter and uses it, but less so)…

Kelly has sent most of the Trump campaign people packing…Moving them to the outside looking in and now acts a gatekeeper on his boss, who is increasingly running out of friends and support in the government, where President must have them….

It is unknown how long Trump will agree to have Kelly managing him…But then it is also unknown how long Donald Trump will have his present job, eh?

President Trump was in an especially ornery mood after staff members gently suggested he refrain from injecting politics into day-to-day issues of governing after last month’s raucous rally in Arizona, and he responded by lashing out at the most senior aide in his presence.

It happened to be his new chief of staff, John F. Kelly.

Mr. Kelly, the former Marine general brought in five weeks ago as the successor to Reince Priebus, reacted calmly, but he later told other White House staff members that he had never been spoken to like that during 35 years of serving his country. In the future, he said, he would not abide such treatment, according to three people familiar with the exchange.

While Mr. Kelly has quickly brought some order to a disorganized and demoralized staff, he is fully aware of the president’s volcanic resentment about being managed, according to a dozen people close to Mr. Trump, and has treaded gingerly through the minefield of Mr. Trump’s psyche. But the president has still bridled at what he perceives as being told what to do.

Like every other new sheriff in town Mr. Trump has hired to turn things around at the White House or in his presidential campaign, Mr. Kelly has gradually diminished in his appeal to his restless boss. What is different this time is that Mr. Trump, mired in self-destructive controversies and record-low approval ratings, needs Mr. Kelly more than Mr. Kelly needs him. Unlike many of the men and women eager to work for Mr. Trump over the years, the new chief of staff signed on reluctantly, more out of a sense of duty than a need for affirmation, personal enrichment or fame….

Trump aide Gorka joins the exit from the White House….

The Bannon people days where numbered …..

This comes as no surprise….

John Kelly IS cleaning the White House of the campaign people….

Of which Sebastian Gorka was one….

Sebastian Gorka, special assistant to President Trump, has offered his letter of resignation to the president, according to multiple reports on Friday.

“[G]iven recent events, it is clear to me that forces that do not support the MAGA promise are — for now — ascendant within the White House,” Gorka wrote in a letter obtained by The Federalist that was confirmed by CNN.

“As a result, the best and most effective way I can support you, Mr. President, is from outside the People’s House,” he continued.

Gorka did not immediately respond when asked to confirm. A White House official pushed back on reports that Gorka had resigned while confirming he had left his post.

“Sebastian Gorka did not resign, but I can confirm he no longer works at the White House,” the official said.

Speculation has swirled since the ouster of former Brietbart colleague Stephen Bannon that Gorka, long one of the more controversial figures in Trump’s White House, was on the rocks under the reign of newly-minted chief of staff John Kelly…..

Political Roundup for August 24, 2017…Kelly try to get a handle on his boss’s info input?…RRH Elections….

President/National

Kaisch/Hickenlooper:  Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper (D) has ruled out a unity ticket against both parties with Ohio Governor John Kaisch (Himself).   Kaisch and Hickenlooper have appeared together several times recently, but it appears that Hickenlooper has some semblance of human dignity and refuses to latch himself to a fail independent candidacy with someone more self-obsessed than President Trump (R?).

Trump-Information:  Chief of Staff John Kelly has established protocols to ensure all information reaching President Trump has been vetted by Kelly before Trump reviews it.  Unless Secretary of Defense Mattis has Cyber Command working on taking down Twitter and the Oval Office’s cable connection, this is only a minor fix.  It was so much easier when Sir Robert Warpole controlled the flow of information to the Hanoverians.

Congress

RNC-Primaries:  President Trump’s threat to primary Republicans who refuse to fall in line behind his agenda could complicate things for the RNC, who really cannot take sides in primaries especially against incumbents….

White House Sources…Bannon’s time in his day job are numbered?….Update…He’s Gone…

Update….

Stephen K. Bannon, the embattled chief strategist who helped President Trump win the 2016 election but clashed for months with other senior West Wing advisers, is leaving his post, a White House spokeswoman announced Friday.

“White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and Steve Bannon have mutually agreed today would be Steve’s last day,” the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said in a statement. “We are grateful for his service and wish him the best.”…

While some are writing stories in the media that Donald Trump’s Charlottesville bob and weave was White House aide Steve Bannon’s idea…..

The growing consensus is new White House Chief of Staff John Kelly  has his hand on the trap door for Bannon…..Maybe….

A decision is imminent from White House chief of staff John Kelly on whether Steve Bannon will keep his job, according to administration officials with knowledge of the situation:

  • Bannon, who has run afoul of Trump in the past, is now suspected by the president of leakingabout his West Wing colleagues. And Trump resents the publicity Bannon has been getting as mastermind of the campaign.
  • Many West Wing officials are now asking “when,” not “if,” Bannon goes.
  • Chief of Staff General John Kelly has been reviewing Bannon’s position.
  • A recent deluge of media coverage of Bannon — including Bannon’s explosive conversation with the American Prospect — have not escaped either the president’s or Kelly’s attention.

One White House source twists the knife: “His departure may seem turbulent in the media, but inside it will be very smooth. He has no projects or responsibilities to hand off.”

Why Bannon might still survive:

  • Trump often sends mixed signals about his personnel plans, and makes decisions — both to keep and dismiss people — on whim.
  • Bannon, with his close connection to the president’s base, is the one West Wing official who could do authentic damage to Trump on the outside.
  • We’re told that Bannon’s friendship with the billionaire Mercer family, who has been an important Trump ally, is a factor in the president’s decision and could be part of the strategist’s survival package.

Bannon is unfazed, according to friends and confidants….

Fresh off a stinging health-care defeat and with internal chaos embroiling the Trump administration, White House aides are signaling newfound openness to working with congressional Democrats—or, at least, to alleviating some of the toxic partisan differences that have marked their tenure.

Sources in the administration say an outreach campaign by newly minted Chief of Staff John Kelly is in the works to rebuild some bridges and, potentially, chip away at the unified Democratic opposition to President Donald Trump’s agenda. Even before he formally started the job, Kelly was reaching out to top Capitol Hill Democrats in hopes of regaining political capital ahead of what is expected to be a bruising fight over tax reform and other administration priorities.

“Tax reform is gonna be a heavy lift,” a senior White House official told The Daily Beast. “No reason to write off/alienate [Democrats] any more than we already have.”

A spokeswoman for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told The Daily Beast that Kelly reached out her over the weekend with the two holding a phone conversation Sunday. A spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) confirmed that Kelly reached out to him as well…..

Oh Shit!… Anthony Scaramucci steps down from the Communications Director ALREADY….

The New York mouth didn’t last long  eh?…..11 Days….

The NY Times says new Chief of Staff seems to have flexed on the

‘ Mooch’who told people he reported DIRECTLY to the President…

It appears the ex-general wasn’t having THAT…

The ‘Mooch’ was also probably upstaging his boss in the media a ‘No…No’….

President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.

Mr. Scaramucci’s abrupt removal came just 10 days after the wealthy New York financier was brought on to the West Wing staff, a move that convulsed an already chaotic White House and led to the departures of Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, and Reince Priebus, the president’s first chief of staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said…..
