Trump after FBI/NSA throw downs?…Lets talk about ANYTHING else….

Donald Trump did and ole fashion peep rally in Louisville Kentucky tonight to divert his attention away from the beatdown FBI Director Comey and NSA head Rogers dealt him in the House Intelligence hearing today on Russia,  him and his people and the Trump/Ryancare bill showdown coming in  two days…

On the precipice of the meatiest legislative fight of his young presidency, Donald Trump is increasingly talking about health care like the vegetables of his agenda — the thing he must begrudgingly finish in order to get to what he really wants: tax cuts, trade deals and infrastructure.

At a rally here in Louisville, Trump time and again framed the passage of a repeal and replacement plan for President Obama’s namesake health care law as a necessary step to achieve the rest of his ambitious agenda.

“We want a very big tax cut,” Trump said, “but we cannot do that until we keep our promise to repeal and replace the disaster known as Obamacare.”

The first big test for health care comes Thursday when the House has scheduled a floor vote. But on Monday, at a rally in the state of a senator, Rand Paul, who has been an outspoken skeptic of his health care proposal, Trump barely touched on the health care bill for the first 30 minutes of his speech. And when he did, he suggested it was the province of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who was in the crowd.

“Mitch, hey Mitch are we going to be okay?” he said. “Good, thanks Mitch.”

Trump was on the ground in Kentucky for almost two hours but it was enough to boost his spirits after a day of swirling headlines in the nation’s capital about Russia, FBI investigations and his unfounded allegations of Obama-ordered wire-tapping. Fresh polls showed new lows for his approval rating, but inside the Louisville arena where attendees did the wave, Trump’s favorability was somewhere near 100 percent….

Note….

It also appears the Trump is throwing House Speaker Ryan and Senate majority Leader McConnell under the bus in the event the Freedom Caucus people are right and the Trump/Ryancare Bill does NOT get the votes….

Trump has NOT got one single major piece of legislation done even though Republicans have majorities in the House and Senate and he ‘s living in the nations’ White House….

Trump and Ryan could lose Trumpcare battle—and still destroy Obamacare

By Egberto Willies   @  Daily Kos

The Trumpcare bill, which seeks to replace the Affordable Care Act, seems to be hanging by a thread. Public opinion polls now show Obamacare above water and Trumpcare under water. Gambling types would surely bet that the bill—in just about every form—will fail. But that would be nothing more than a short-term gain, and it is important that progressives understand that—right now.

Rejoicing in this likely upcoming win is a fool’s errand. Why? Because for many Americans, specifically those who are not on Medicaid, Obamacare is a financial strain. I am self-employed, and I’m paying about $1,200 a month with a family deductible of $12,000. My plan is an HMO. But in past years a program like this would be considered a “catastrophic” plan. I would have to spend $26,400 before the insurance kicks in. To be fair, the doctor fees are an affordable $40.00 to $100.00, and labs and medicine are discounted.

I understand these costs intellectually, in the context of the corrupt health care system that we have. I understand that the drug companies, the hospitals, and the insurance companies are businesses with shareholders. They all want to show growth, regardless of whether they provide more value or services. That growth consists of an unwarranted increase in health care costs across the board.

University of Houston professor Seth Chandler wrote a piece titled “Republican Stalemate Will Test Whether Obamacare Is Indeed Collapsing” that pointed out a reality about Obamacare. He predicts that we are headed for a stalemate—and progressives should not consider that a win….

Republican House Speaker Ryan admits his Trump/Ryancare Bill won’t make it…

The bill will have to be made palatable for House Conservatives after which House members in Blue and Purple states will NOT vote for the bill which will NOT get anywhere in the Senate…..

Things do NOT look good….

Healthcare IS a tough Nut for Congress….Even one with a one party majority…..

Paul Ryan has finally owned up to his problem on this….Image result for paul ryan
House Speaker Paul D. Ryan said Wednesday that his health-care proposal must change to pass the House, marking a significant retreat from his earlier position that the carefully crafted legislation would fail if substantially altered.

Ryan acknowledged that changes would be made two days after an analysis issued by the Congressional Budget Office prompted a fresh round of criticism of his proposal. Among the report’s projections was that 14 million fewer Americans would be insured after one year under the Republican plan.

Speaking after a private meeting of GOP lawmakers, Ryan said leaders would “incorporate feedback” from the rank-and-file in response to the CBO findings. He did not repeat his previous comments calling support for the bill a “binary choice” for Republican lawmakers.

“Now that we have our score we can make some necessary improvements and refinements to the bill,” he said, referring to the CBO’s estimate of the impact on the number of those covered by health insurance and what the GOP proposal would cost.

Ryan did not detail what changes are under consideration to his plan….
