As with Cabinet choices…House Speaker turns away from Trump campaign promises…

I did a piece here yesterday on how Trump cabinet choices have spoken before Congress of their different views of Russia then their boss Donald Trump….

Yesterday House Speaker Ryan spoke before a crowd and knocked down some of Donald Trump’s Bull Shit campaign promises on Immigration enforcemnet…

Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan, at a town hall meeting televised by CNN, at times distanced himself—albeit subtly—from the policies of President-elect Donald Trump, especially when it came to the forced deportation of immigrants living in the country illegally. Questions at the town hall at George Washington University Thursday night covered, among other things, Obamacare, Russia, and immigration. At one point a woman who said she was undocumented asked Ryan if she would be deported. No, Ryan said. And when asked if the government would create a deportation force, as Trump had promised on the campaign trail, Ryan laughed, saying that “in Congress, it’s not happening…

Ryan also admitted that even with repeal of the Affordable Healthcare Law/Obamacare….Parts of the law WOULD remain….

Ryan discussed Republican plans for repealing and replacing President Obama’s health-care law with a cancer patient who credits the law with saving his life. Ryan pledged to find a “better way to fix this problem” without major rate hikes. He declined to give a date for when the GOP would unveil their replacement plan, but he said it would cover individuals with preexisting conditions and allow children to stay on their parents’ health insurance until age 26 — provisions Trump has praised….

Donald Trump Doubles Down on Immigration Hard Line….

After coming back from talking to the Mexican President, who told him he won’t pay for a ‘Wall’….(Trump was deferential in Mexico)

Back in Phoenix?

He went HARD….Doing a turn around on things he has said just a few hours before in Mexico….

Donald Trump repeated that he would get the Mexican’s to pay. for the wall…

He proposed  to put in place Mitt Romney’s ‘Voluntary Returns’ for the 11 million long term undocumented in America ALREADY….

A BIGGER Deportation Force….

And More…..

Donald Trump’s forceful ‘red meat’ speech was aimed at HIS base…

Donald Trump on Wednesday made his immigration policies clear: Mexico will fund an impenetrable, beautiful border wall, and the Republican presidential nominee’s administration will begin its construction on the first day of his presidency.

“We will build a great wall along the southern border, and Mexico will pay for the wall,” Trump said. “Remember — 100 percent. They don’t know it yet, but they’re going to pay for the wall.”

Trump hailed the “great people and great leaders” of Mexico following his visit to Mexico City earlier Wednesday but insisted, “they’re going to pay for the wall.”

“On Day One, we will begin working on an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful southern border wall,” Trump said during a major speech on immigration in Phoenix after weeks of waffling on the issue that has been core to his campaign. “We will use the best technology, including above and below ground sensors. That’s the tunnels. Remember that. Above and below. Above and below ground sensors. Towers. Aerial surveillance and manpower to supplement the wall. Find and dislocate tunnels and keep out criminal cartels and Mexico will work with us. I really believe it. Mexico will work with us. I absolutely believe it.”

Shedding any pretense of softening his posture, Trump promised to protect American citizens, reaffirming his America First policy as he blamed President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton directly for violence perpetrated by illegal immigrants. Obama and Clinton, Trump said, support so-called sanctuary cities, a catch-and-release program on the border, visa overstays, the release of “dangerous criminals” and amnesty.

He accused his rival of promising amnesty in her first 100 days, as well as granting Obamacare, Social Security and Medicare to undocumented immigrants, a move he said would break the federal budget.

“On top of that, she promises uncontrolled low-skilled immigration that continues to reduce jobs and wages for American workers and especially African-American and Hispanic workers in our country — our citizens,” he said…..

Trump outlined other planks of his policy position, including a promise to return all detained undocumented people to their home countries and zero tolerance for immigrants who commit crimes. It amounted to a massive deportation program.

“You can call it deported if you want. The press doesn’t like that term,” he said. “You can call it whatever the hell you want. They’re gone.”

He also touted his “extreme vetting” policy, which includes an ideological test, and pledged to bar immigration from nations like Syria and Libya.

“We have no idea who they are, where they come from,” Trump said. “There’s no documentation. There’s no paperwork. It’s going to end badly, folks. It’s going to end very, very badly.”

Trump also went very HARD against Hillary Clinton….

Hillary Clinton attacks Trump on Hate and a Radical Fringe Appeal…….

Clinton: Trump gives rise to 'fringe element' stoking racial discord

Hillary Cliton made a sppech today pointing out WHO Donald Trump has made his base and supporters…

She also pointed to how in the last 24 hours Trump has tried appeal to Latino’s and Black’s to ‘trust’ him, while he STILL says he’s true  those who would agree with his campaign of fear and prejudice…She also questioned Trump call to ban people based on their reglious beliefs…

In 2016 Donald Trump HAS used ‘fear’ of the direction America is going to gain support…It appaers Hillary Clinton is NOT gonna let him and the media forget that 75 days out from the General Election…

We cannot be allowed go backwards by electing  Trump….

In her speech she gives ample reasons why Trump HAS struck out with minorities in the polls….

Those who though that Hillary Clinton and her campaign could NOT slug it out against Trump are sadly mistaken….

“From the start, Donald Trump has built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia,” Clinton said on Thursday at a speech in Nevada. “He’s taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over one of America’s two major political parties.”

She called him “profoundly dangerous.”

“A man with a long history of racial discrimination, who traffics in dark conspiracy theories drawn from the pages of supermarket tabloids and the far reaches of the internet, should never run our government or command our military,” she said.

With Trump working hard in recent days to appeal to African-American voters, Clinton hammered the appeals the Manhattan billionaire has offered to the black community. She said Trump “misses so much” in making his case to black voters, including the “vibrancy” of black-owned businesses, the “excellence” of historically black colleges and universities and the “pride” of African-Americans watching their children thrive.

She also recalled the lawsuit filed against Trump that accused him of refusing to rent to black and Hispanic tenants. She said his first foray into the political world, his spearheading of the so-called “birther” movement that questioned whether President Barack Obama had been born in the United States, amounted to an effort to

“It takes a lot of nerve to ask people he’s ignored and mistreated for decades, ‘what do you have to lose?’” Clinton said, repeating a question Trump has asked of black voters before the mostly white audiences at his rallies. “Because the answer is everything.”
With Trump tacking quickly away from the hardline immigration stance upon which he built his campaign, Clinton recalled the Trump Tower speech he delivered on the day he launched his White House bid in which he said of Mexican immigrants, “They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.”

“Since then, there’s been a steady stream of bigotry,” she said.

From there, Clinton listed the litany of controversies that have swirled around Trump’s campaign. She pointed to his initial refusal to repudiate an endorsement from former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke and his decision to retweet a message from an anti-Semitic Twitter account. She asked the crowd to “think about” what it meant that the Republican nominee for president accused a Hispanic federal judge of being biased against him because of his heritage.

The former secretary of state also attacked Trump’s penchant for “pushing discredited conspiracy theories with racist undertones.”

Trump’s response?

Donald Trump ripped Hillary Clinton for playing the race card on Thursday, calling her a bully seeking to distract voters from her own controversies by accusing others of racism…..

Donald Trump wants to ask prospective immigrants what their values are….

Sort of an ideological test?

Trump continues to push for stopping immigration for ANY country that has terrorism problems….

THAT would rule out ANY immigration from most of the outside world….

During a foreign policy speech in Ohio on Monday, the GOP nominee will say the test to admit people into the country should ask the candidate about issues including religious freedom, gender equality and gay rights, according to The Associated Press.

The test, which would seek values such as tolerance and pluralism, would include questionnaires, social media assessments and interviews with friends and family.

Trump in his speech will call on replacing nation building with “foreign policy realism,” aides told the AP.

Trump will say the country needs to work with anyone who wants to defeat “radical Islamic terrorism.”…

“As he laid out in his Orlando remarks, Mr. Trump will describe the need to temporarily suspend visa issuances to geographic regions with a history of exporting terrorism and where adequate checks and background vetting cannot occur,” Miller said….

Trump’s wife…’I followed the law’ as immigrant

Donald Trump’s wife immigrated from Slovenia …

She IS an American citizen…

She will be asked about this due to her husbands postion on immigration…

Image result for Melania Trump

Melania Trump is defending her husband’s campaign, particularly his outspoken rhetoric on immigration and what critics have perceived as a harsh tone directed toward women.

“I followed the law,” Trump said in an interview with Mika Brzezinski aired Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” in discussing the hoops she had to jump through in order to become a citizen of the United States. “I never thought to stay here without papers. I had a visa, I traveled every few months back to the country to Slovenia to stamp the visa. I came back, I applied for the green card, I applied for the citizenship later on after many years of green card. So I went by system, I went by the law. And you should do that, you should not just say let me stay here and whatever happens, happens.”

Trump, who immigrated to the United States from Slovenia in 1996, said that she and her husband are “prepared” for people to call him names for expressing his viewpoints. “I’m a full-time mom, and I love it. So, I decided not to be in the campaign so much, but I support my husband 100 percent,” she said of her role in the campaign itself.

“We have thick skin, and we know that people will judge him and people will call names. They don’t give him enough credit. From June that he announced, they don’t give him enough credit,”

She is Trump’s third wife….

Is Trump backing away from his anti-Immigration stance?

Anyone besides TPM and me notice this?

Donald Trump HAS lower the tempature on his anti-Mexicab rants…

Is he trying to have things BOTH ways ?

Now that he thinks he has a chance at this thing?

(Look at his poll numbers )

Is he suddenly going establishment?

…..now that the Summer of Trump is turning into fall, it looks like Trump is trying to turn over a new leaf, promising a “a big fat beautiful open door” in his 1,954-mile-long southwestern border wall, agreeing to eat Mexican food with Geraldo Rivera, and winning the praises of the CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The softening is nuanced and doesn’t suggest an earnest effort to make-nice with the still-furious Latino community. Rather it portends a long-term campaign strategy in which Trump tries to have it both ways: blow the dog whistle to rile the nativist extremes of the GOP base but temper his rhetoric to reassure more moderate conservatives who don’t see themselves — or want to be seen — as racist.

“It’s clear he’s trying to assuage the mood,” said Felix Sanchez, chairman and co-founder of the National Hispanic Foundation of the Arts, whose group turned down an invitation to meet with Trump in Manhattan at Trump Tower. “In a way, it’s really whitewashing what he’s done,” Sanchez told TPM last week….

Donald Trump’s hardline on Immigration….

Donald Trump has given the Republican Party another headache

His take no prisonors hardline on illegal’s in this country is absolute….

If you are here illegally?

You have to leave….

Furthermore, if you have children here THEY should NOT be American citizens…..(That is in the Constitution Donald)

The line is drawn in the sand along with his push for a BIGGER wall….

Of course most of the 2016 GOP Sweepstakes contestand will NOW jump on Trumps coattails and join him…..

But this Dog is willing to bet that two guys won’t….

Jeb Bush and John Kasich…..

And I’m willing to bet that reception to this will to cement Hillary Clinton’s grasp on the Black, Brown and Yellow vote next November….

Donald Trump keeps working hard to help Hillary Clinton stregthen HER base….

Go Donald Go!

The ideas once languished at the edge of Republican politics, confined to think tanks and no-hope bills on Capitol Hill. To solve the problem of illegal immigration, truly drastic measures were necessary: Deport the undocumented en masse. Seize the money they try to send home. Deny citizenship to their U.S.-born children.

Now, all of those ideas have been embraced by Donald Trump, the front-runner in the Republican presidential race, who has followed up weeks of doomsaying about illegal immigrants with a call for an unprecedented crackdown.

On Monday, Trump’s hard turn was already influencing the rest of the GOP field. In Iowa, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker also began to call for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, echoing a longtime Trump demand. Walker said the separation barrier between Israel and the Palestinian territories is proof that the concept could work here.

Walker also seemed to echo Trump by questioning “birthright citizenship,” the constitutional provision that grants citizenship to anyone born in this country. After a reporter asked if birthright citizenship should be ended, Walker said: “I think that’s something we should — yeah, absolutely, going forward.”

But — in a sign of how quickly Trump has changed the terms of this race — Walker had difficulty clearly articulating where exactly he stands on the issue, wanting to steal some of Trump’s momentum but not quite sure to what extent. He went on to say that if the United States enforces the laws it already has, that alone might take care of the problem….

Trump…”Good’ Immigrants can come back after ALL are deported…

Doubling down on his going after the illegal’s , as a way to gather Conservative Republican primary voters…..The Donald says he wants to deport ALL illegals….Something that IS impossible…even his own party people know….

Donald Trump wants to deport all immigrants in the United States illegally and then grant the “good ones” an expedited pathway to legal status, he told CNN in an interview.

“I would get people out and have an expedited way to get them into the country so they can be legal,” he said, according to CNN.

“We got to move ’em out, we’re going to move ’em back in if they’re really good people.”
When pushed by CNN’s Dana Bash to explain how he would identify and deport the estimated 11 million immigrants in the country illegally, Trump wouldn’t give any specifics but ensured that it was possible….

Trump takes his Border fence act to Arizona…

‘The Donald’ is going to Arizona today to rally the flag and media around his attention building idea of spending MORE of the taxpayers money to errect yet ANOTHER fence between America and Mexico ….

Never mind that the illefgal crossing from Mexico have dropped more than 40% in the last year or so….

Never mind that the Congress is talking about getting rid of almost 100,000 soliders and civilians because there isn’t enough money….

Never mind that Congress wants to cut even more money form social programs….

This RICH guy wants you all to dig into yopur pockets to build another multibillion dollar fence …..

And the best part?

His poll niumbers keep climbing!….

After weeks of criticism — and rising poll numbers — in the wake of controversial remarks on immigration, Donald Trump brings his spotlight to Arizona, a longtime hotbed of border security debate.

The Republican presidential candidate is joining forces at a rally Saturday afternoon with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, an immigration hardliner who has said illegal aliens in his jurisdiction can expect a “free ride to jail.”

The event shows Trump has no intent of softening his rhetoric, which is unnerving Republicans even as the outspoken billionaire has gone sky-high in the polls.

The GOP establishment is worried that Trump will hurt it, but the business mogul is also sounding a note that some grassroots Republicans want to hear.

“Trump’s touched more than a nerve. He’s connected to a zeitgeist,” Steve Deace, a conservative radio host, told The Hill of Trump’s resonance with right-wing voters.

“[His immigration stance] is not always eloquently worded, but it is the spirit of what most of the GOP base actually thinks,” he added…..

We may complain about racism in turns of blacks….But Donald Trump has directed his racist rants at Latino’s….Right on the front page…..

The man is digging Republicans into a hole….
