US uninsured Health rate lowest since tracking began…

The story last week was increases in health coverage rates….

The better story is MORE Americans have insurance…..

Gallup: “The uninsured rate among U.S. adults aged 18 and older was 11.4% in the second quarter of 2015, down from 11.9% in the first quarter. The uninsured rate has dropped nearly six percentage points since the fourth quarter of 2013, just before the requirement for Americans to carry health insurance took effect. The latest quarterly uninsured rate is the lowest Gallup and Healthways have recorded since daily tracking of this metric began in 2008.”

  1. “just before the requirement for Americans to carry health insurance took effect”

According to the Supreme Court, there is no requirement.

No insurance? You just pay a tax for which you get nothing in return.

    Sounds fair.

And it made the private insurance companies happy.

    And the Lawyers wealthy.

  2. America IS a capitailist country….

    Profit driven….

If OUR government lets these guys get awy with this…We’re screwed…

Kinda like student loans, where we’re getting screwed ..but the government is MAKING money….

Sounds like a battle Sen Warren should get her teeth in?
