Democratic Socialist Dave, since we expect Maryland LG Anthony Brown (D) to run for Governor in 2014, he has to be considered the favorite because of some in the African American community wanting one of their own as the state’s chief executive.
I also think Obama & Co., will see to it that Brown succeeds O’Malley, who will be making future presidential aspirations for 2016.
I’m in Rhode Island, which is halfway up the Atlantic coast from Maryland (42 degrees of latitude north of the Equator against Maryland’s 39).
I have no idea what’ll happen below the Mason-Dixon line two years from now (it would be nice to know what’ll happen two weeks from now, although it doesn’t look bright for the President.)
