Obama: President Obama running as a friend of coal? Bizarro World 2012 continues.
Romney: Mitt’s ads have shifted their focus to China. While this obviously a response to Obama’s outsourcing ads, I’m curious whether currency manipulation, a rather complicated subject, will resonate with voters.

MA-Sen: Scott Brown went negative for the first time yesterday, hitting Elizabeth Warren on Indiangate. Warren promptly responded with an ad confirming that yes, of course she is Cherokee, thus allowing the controversy that’s been killing her to roll into another news cycle.
MO-Sen: With Akin’s exit deadline now passed, Claire McCaskill is beginning her wave of attacks. A nugget from the end of this article: Jim DeMint is thinking of lending Akin a financial hand “if it appears he can win the race.”
