Just a Reminder: Nikki Haley Remains Awesome

The Myrtle Beach newspaper brings word to conservatives nationwide that Nikki Haley remains awesome.
The Governor, who had a series of vetoes overridden by the state legislature because she dared to cut spending, has also wielded her veto pen and seen the legislature back down recently. But, what’s so awesome, is the tears shed by liberals. Get this — she, in the words of the newspaper, “unilaterally” dissolved “the S.C. Arts Commission and the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium.”
She also drew a line in the sand over pork barrel spending in the state, pretty clearly telling the legislature that the good times aren’t back yet and they need to not live high on the hog.
Just read this editorial and you get a great flavor of what’s going on in South Carolina.
People is policy and conservatives rallied to a great person. The result? Great conservative policy coming out of the Governor’s Mansion….

Haley is AT BEST 50/50 for even winning the Republican nomination for re election
Possible candidates include: State Treasurer Curtis Loftis,House Speaker Bobby Harrell and State Senator Tom Davis
Haley ran BEHIND the rest of the Republican ticket and barely edged Democratic Candidate Vince Sheheen ,a State Senator
Sheheen will likely be the Democratic candidate in 2014
I think Haley will get another 4 years.
I also think that the Democratic nominee will be Robert Ford instead of Vincent Sheheen.
Robert Ford ran last time and didn’t do very well
Fords problem is that he has played footsies so long with the Republicans that he has lost his base among Blacks
I doubt if he runs again and if he does Sheheen will easily defeat him
As I said I rate Haley 50/50
Since 1980 when there state Constitution was changed to allow Governors to succeed themselves
Three of the five have been successful in doing so
