Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice are among the high-profile speakers scheduled to address this month’s Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
An early list of announced speakers, first reported by the Tampa Bay Times, also includes GOP Govs. Rick Scott (Fla.), Nikki Haley (S.C.), John Kasich (Ohio) and Susana Martinez (N.M.), as well as former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee…..
Note…..
No mention of Chris Christie or ‘The Donald’ Trump so far…..Hummmm?

I’m a little surprised at Rick Scott and John Kasich getting speaking roles.
I don’t get Scott and Haley
Both are relatively unpopular in their states even among Republicans
maybe this is an effort to get them some favorable exposure
All I know about Scott is what I read
But here in SC a whole lot of Republicans are upset with Haley
Look for her to have significant opposition if she runs for re election in 2014 in both the primary and if she survives the GE
Obviously need to rally the GOP faithful for an uninspiring candidate.
So am I Z with Scott and Kasich…
I guess feeding the ‘red meat’ crowd….
Rick Scott’s an interesting character.
He supports policies that I do, yet the man still personally unsettles me somehow.
If my plans transpire, then I might well be voting on his re-election in 2014.
I would like to see another Conservative take a stab at it.
Rick Scott has pissed off a LOT Floridian’s…
His approval numbers are in the garbage …
And if he tries hard enough…
He might be able to get Obama to win Florida….
That sure was a lot of “reflection” by SE
Hell almost 48 hours worth!
I think Mitt Romney and Connie Mack IV(or Dave Weldon) will win FL in spite of Scott.
I doubt Scott makes it out of the Primary.
He’ll be 2014′s Jim Gibbons, minus the divorce records.
I would hope that Corey cools down…..
But as I said…..
The choice IS his…..
I’m seeing Nelson keeping his day job in DC…..
