General Election Odds as of 7/1/12…SE….

Mitt Romney (51.5%)

While the ObamaCare ruling by the Supreme Court may be seen as a victory for Obama, Romney benefits from the public’s distaste for both tax increases and the still unpopular health care law.

Barack Obama (48.5%)

Now that voters see that their taxes will go up when ObamaCare takes effect, Obama is placed in an even more precarious position.

His administration’s handling of ‘Fast and Furious’ is not helping matters either.

  1. I would like to point out that the tax implications of this Law will only be felt by a small part of the American population who are making over $40,000 a year and don’t have Healthcare Insurance…..

Poor people will get their care subsidized by the Law and rich people HAVE, or can afford Health Insurance….

  2. Why do you highlight something in which it is clear SE doesn’t know what he is talking about? With SE’s comment “voters see that their taxes will go up when ObamaCare takes effect”, he shows that he doesn’t even read the newspaper.

  3. The Individual Mandate was ruled a tax by the Supreme Court.

Any idiot who pays even just a little bit of attention will see this as a tax increase when the law takes effect in 2014.

  4. My comments rebutt SE’s post on the scope of the taxes….

  5. No problem with the fact that it IS a tax and a increase….
    SE….
    PLEASE read this post over….
In it it notes that the mandate will most likely affect about 4 Million of the nations +300 Million persons…
Hardly an across the board tax hike…

  6. That in exchange for what the WHOLE nation is getting is a GREAT Cost/Benefit choice…

    Incidentally for Corey…
I believe there are only a few GOP lead states that will consider the Supreme’s ok to move away from the Government sponsored Medicaid route….

Didn’t I see this same shit when Obama offered the stimulus money?
Oh, wasn’t Pawlenty one of the chuckleheads that wasn’t gonna take the money?
    And he did …’
    Yea he DID….

  7. I saw your comments James, and I agree completely. Almost no one is affected by the “tax” that Roberts and you call it. SE’s post makes no sense.

  8. The ‘spin’ continue’s…..

    Tough loss for the right….
You notice Daniel has not been here on this….
