The GOP Mini Super Tuesday , April 24, 2012….CT, DEL, NY, Pa, RI……

The Republican Nomination race is over….

Willard ‘Mitt’ Romney IS the Nominee to run against President Obama on November 6, 2012…..

While there was a argument that Romney needed to get to 1,144 delegates at the Convention…..

That’s NOT the way things work anymore in American two party politics …..

The CLEAR leader gets picked by April as the winner and the party TRIES to fall in behind that guy….

(There haven’t been any women leaders)

So this Tuesday we have a Mini Super Tuesday….

I suppose soem media types will want Romney to show wins by some mythical figure….

But that’s really NOT important….

Here’s the info……

And we’ll report the results…….

April 24, 2012

Connecticut… 28 Delegates….Primary

Delaware…17 Delegates…Primary

New York… 95  Delegates…Primary

Pennsylvania…72 Delegates… Primary

Rhode Island…19 Delegates…Primary

  1. James B, you’ve got new email to post on the Dog.

  2. I’ll check the mail in about an hour….

  3. I see that tonight’s primaries are not going to be covered by the major networks because Romney is the GOP nominee since earlier this month.

By sweeping all of the current states this evening, the former Massachusetts governor would be at 871 delegates.

  4. hi james and everyone. i called my local town clerk today to make sure there are no prez dem primary and they said no. even if obama was on the ballot by himself i would have voted for him today in connecticut. oh well, going unopposed has its privileges! even though i love primary and election days i cant get excited anymore now that willlard romney all but rapped up the gop race as i perdicted a year ago. it got hairy for a time but it all boils down to mitt and obama. obama will win but it will be close. a year ago i thought obama was going to win very easily but given the economy and stuff he will take it 51/48. i admit when im wrong.

  5. Terry in New York the vote will be light for Romney

  6. Right now Terry
Electoral votes are Obama ‘s by a good margin

  7. I will still tear Romney as much as I can. GET USED TO IT.

  8. Daniel Willard Mitt Romney IS YOUR PARTIES WINNER tonight and IS the
    GOP nominee
    GET USED TO IT!!!!!

  9. james,

That doesn’t mean I’ve to like him or to vote for him, does it?

  10. Mitt Romney
The republican nominee goes 5 for 5 tonight with a clean sweep of ALL five primaries
    AS EXPECTED

  11. james,

    WHO CARES…REALLY….

MITT ROMNEY HAS RUINED THE REPUBLICAN PARTY…

  12. Whew…..
    I’m watching MSNBC….
Chuck Todd came to New York for the coverage….

  13. They are reporting that Newt had a wobbly speech tonight and the Romney people are mad at Santorum…

  14. Gingrich to drop out on May 1st: what took him so damn long ?

  15. ego and a reality check CD….

  16. I don’t have the details yet, but the RI Democratic primary did occur yesterday with about 2 1/2% (one in forty) turnout. “Uncommitted” was the alternative to Obama, and there were choices to be made about which Obama delegates to send to Charlotte (we even got a robocall from a pair of delegate-candidates, one of whom I know).

  17. You’ve got new email about polling from the Texas primaries now that half of the candidates are dropping out and more on Gov. Perry’s horrible polling numbers.

The man is NOT running again in 2014 and folks are getting sick of him, plus half of his own party wants him gone following the embarrassing presidential campaign he ran.

  18. I think Perry did the best he could

He just isn’t a very bright guy

His embarrassing campaign says as much about the state of Texas as it does about him

Who would elect this glaring “mediocrity”(and that’s being charitable)

    ANYTHING!

In his effort to screw Planned Parenthood
He’s stepping AWAY from Fed money for the WHOLE STATE
    The guy IS DANGEROUS
    HE IS A GOVERNOR!

  22. And the state ofTexas elected him several times

    Elections HAVE consequences

    They deserve what they get!

That idiot Nikki Hakey is bust with that corny Right Wing BS here in SC

And I hope SC suffers too

It’s past time for states to elect these obviously dim witted boobs like Perry and Haley with their goofy anti government talking points and then feign outrage at their antics

    To be held accountble

  23. Jack ….
2010 WAS a good year for the RightWingNuts…..
Now the WHOLE country seems to have buyers remorse….
