Whether Martha Coakley wins or loses……the passage of the Healthcare Bill once virtually assured … is no longer a lock….
While the Dog feels dearly that it is the right thing to do…and will gladly pay for it…..
The President and the Democrats have allowed themselves to be defined by the GOP in terms of the Bill and the notion of ‘tax and spend’….
While the Republicans are able to pull out that dusty slogan time and again….it still works.…..
The nation’s economy doesn’t help the democrats either……
Bill Clinton in his first year rushed to re-invent government, hiring young inexperienced staffers and throwing tons of new legislation at Congress……that didn’t work….he had to retrench….
Barack Obama may suffer the same fate…while this just a vote in Massachusetts…it has uncanny parallels to the New Jersey and Virginia governor races…..bad candidates , bad economy….no help from WAshington, and the White House until too late……
The Dog hopes that all of the democrats in Massachusetts come out and vote prove the pundits, pollsters and the GOP wrong…..But to tell you the truth….It may not happen….
The Dog will then be right in criticizing the President, and the White House, for leaving the rest of the party out there with no clothes on…. to sell Healthcare and answer for the Economy…while the President gets on Air Force One and leaves all of this behind to hang with the Leaders of the World …..
All politics is local…. And President Obama is cruising for a bruising…..if he doesn’t stay home a campaign hard for his Bill….
Bill and Hillary Clinton can tell him all about their trials and tribulations almost 20 years ago….and they didn’t get the bill…..the GOP shot them down also….

Look I know how much you like Obama and I have looked at the polls numerous times I have been to see Senator Graham in SC a state that is economically troubled and can honestly truthfully tell you the PEOPLE do not want this Health Control Bill
It is a bad bill that FORCES people to buy insurance AND will cause even BIGGER deficits, and WILL create a GIANT WEDGE between Senator Nelson and others
Let this bill fail

On Brown: he’s just a SEAT WARMER for one of the Democrats down-ballot in 2012 because he’s gone and he knows it.
